How I came to Homeopathy I have an insatiable urge for learning. My Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from San Francisco was just the beginning. Next came elementary teaching credentials, and a Master of Arts from Northeastern University in English. A stay-at-home-mom for the first years of my children's lives, I didn't enter the teaching force until my eldest was in kindergarten. Then I dove in head first as literacy coordinator, followed by reading recovery teacher and finally devoted classroom teacher. After teaching elementary school for 25 years, I retired in 2010. My teaching career filled many years of my life with busy days and satisfaction. A few years before retiring, I knew I wanted a second career. Homeopathy always fascinated me. I decided to explore the inner workings of this science and began attending Teleosis School of Homeopathy in Boston, MA. In a short time I knew, this was my new calling. My school encouraged certification and thus my goal of CHC certification emerged. After completing four years of classroom and clinical work at Teleosis as well as anatomy and physiology and pathology and disease courses, the certification test and cases, in April of 2012, I became a Certified Classical Homeopath. |
