In September 2012, I visited Port-au-Prince, Haiti as a volunteer for Homeopaths Without Borders to help train Haitians as community homeopaths. I worked with the Haitian students at their homeopathic clinic treating clients, supporting the students in case taking, follow up questioning, using resources and remedy selection. This project is based on the belief that if you give a man a fish, he eats for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.
In the country of Haiti, many people do not have access to health care. It is the goal of these new Haitian homeopaths to support the health of their people. Homeopaths Without Borders maintains a blog about this on-going project here.
